Keeping my exercise routine fun and fresh

For me, exercise has to be inspiring.
I tend to get bored easily so I need to think of it as a treat.
I love to plan activities with amazing views, like my favorite
Land's End Trail in San Francisco...

or transport myself to a magical place and hike in
Muir Woods with my son...

Not only is it good for the body but amazing to clear your mind.
Besides my trusty water bottle, I always have a pack of Orbit® gum with me.
I've found that not only is it a nice treat,
but when your mouth feels clean and fresh you can really make the most of the moment.

With amazing flavors such as, Spearmint, Peppermint, Wintermint, Bubblemint,
Strawberry, Citrus, Sweet Mint and Orbit White, there is always something new.
Orbit® sugarfree gum has only 5-10 calories per serving
and can help keep your wellness goals on track, not only while being active,
but by minimizing mindless snacking throughout the day.
Perfect for a run on the beach...

power walking in the city...

or a vigorous stroll with friends to The Golden Gate Bridge.
Orbit®  helps to keep it lively and exciting.

Some days it is as simple as walking to the shopping center, art museum or
farmers' market instead of driving.  I make the destination a rewarding experience.

I may treat myself to a candle at the mall, a new exhibit at the museum or
unique produce that I've never tried at the farmers' market.

Keeping it fresh, fun and interesting,
is the best way to #ChewToABetterYou!

Mona Lisa Smile - make your own masterpiece

Have you ever wanted to pretend you are
Leonardo da Vinci, Johannes Vermeer or Claude Monet?
Smile,
I have the most amazing book to help your creative, artistic dreams come true!

Paint by Sticker is a compelling new activity
for crafters, doodlers and coloring book enthusiasts of all ages.
It is a simple, fun mixture of stickers and paint by numbers.
It's relaxingly therapeutic and you'll be so proud of your creation.
So move over, Renoir -
put down that brush, give your painters' pallet a new job as a snack tray
and make a masterpiece...

Select your work of art and the coordinating sticker sheet...

peel off a sticker...

find its place on your art page and put it on.
That's it.

Just keep some tweezers on hand for tiny stickers or tricky areas...

You don't have to be too precise though, it will look like irregular stones on a mosaic -
beautiful, classic, timeless.
You'll be amazed how a blank page suddenly comes to life...

With 12 iconic works of art,
you will have a gallery of your own in no time.
Mona Lisa may not have much of a smile, but you will.

Do you want a chance to win a copy of Paint by Stickers Masterpieces
and a frame for one of your creations?
Let me know on Instagram here what makes you smile
by this Friday, September 23, 2016.
A winner will be selected at random.

Inspirational Art with Saatchi

"The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls."
Pablo Picasso

Art is a great source of inspiration for me.
I love looking at artists' creations and seeing their insights into life.

At first you either love something or don't care for it,
but often, the longer you look the more you see and come to enjoy.

Art is personal and objective but in this fast-paced, virtual and electronic world
it is a comforting joy to own something you love.

It is not always easy to get to a gallery or show so instead,
 I  browse Saatchi Online

They are the world's leading art gallery and
connect people with the art and artists from all over the world.
It is so fun to just get inspired, but with their wide range of artists and prices it is easy to buy!

I also love that Saatchi provides a great environment
for these talented artists to exhibit their art for the world to see.

Recently, I've been intrigued by the collage artwork at Saatchi
It is such a modern, creative medium that has come a long way
since the days of cutting and pasting items out of magazines.

The textures, the colors, the stories the art conveys,
I could get lost looking for hours...
