EARRING-ing in Spring...A Birthday Scavenger Hunt

Today is my daughter's birthday.
It is also the weekend of a milestone
High School Reunion
for me in
Southern California.

I will be home by noon,
but I feel so guilty for missing a minute of her
12th Birthday.

She has always taken pride in her birthday being the first day of Spring.

She is also very excited about her newly pierced ears.
I decided to combine the two in a
Scavenger Hunt
that she will wake up to this morning.

little clues leading her to earring gifts will be all around the house

(my son picked these out)

and these are the instructions for my husband to follow
early this morning to get it all set up...
thanks Matt.

Happy Birthday Sweet Carolyn!

I Scream for 1st Grade!

Invitations for the Ice Cream Social Auction Party,
that the 1st Grade teachers host for recent Kindergarten (Girl) Graduates.

It is such a fun way to celebrate summer,
meet the teachers for next year and chat with your six year old girlfriends.
The favors are an ice cream lip gloss and pencil
along with a Baskin Robbins gift certificate all in a cone cup with sprinkles.

Sweet and Cool,
just like the 1st Grade Class of 2010-2011

Lights, Camera, 5th Grade Movie Night!

File:Back to the Future Soundtrack B.PNG

I can't believe it...the Future is here!
Last night was my daughter's first school "social" event...
5th Grade Movie Night.

They watched Back to the Future in the school gym,
and as many of my old friends know
I have always LOVED this movie!

It is kind of bittersweet.
I can't believe she is almost out of elementary school
but it was great to see her having so much fun with her friends.
~
I helped with a few of the party details...

~The Raffle Prize~

~Water bottle favors~

~and the 5th Grade Walk of Fame~
(a personalized star for all 120 of them!)

I wish I could go
Back in Time
and stop her from getting older!
