It's Summer and I'm ready for some color!

We are kicking this season off with a bright and cheerful 

watercolor party.

Tiny easels and paints...

turn into simple Summer masterpieces.

But little artists get thirsty.

What better way to "wet their palette",
 than with some water-colorful fruit to flavor their water?!

We all know the importance of drinking water and staying hydrated, but it can be challenging.

For me it needs to be crisp, clean and cold 

and anything I can do to make it more fun and flavorful helps.

I love to have great tasting filtered water at my fingertips 

and being able to have it when I'm on the go is amazing. 

My Brita Water Bottles from the Walmart hardware section are just the best.

They look great and are so fun to tote around. The built in filter, reduces the taste and odor of chlorine, and other contaminants, to deliver great-tasting water while removing impurities.

Perfect for turning water from the tap or a fountain into something you actually want to drink.

And they were  the perfect Water Color Party favor.

Miracles and Willy Wonka - One Dramatic Party!

Some may think that bringing the waters to
the Drama Club end of the year party is not a very exciting job.
Well, we took some "dramatic straws" and it went from ho-hum to show stopping!

After all, Helen Keller's "Water" scene
in the school's Fall production of The Miracle Worker
was the highlight of the show...

and there is nothing like ice cold water, to wash down 

all of Willy Wonka's sweetness from the Spring play...

Just beware, you can never be too sure what the Candy Man will put in your H2O 

to liven up the party!

So Long, Farewell...Going Away Party

One of our favorite "teams" is moving away.

A new job, with a university that is 

infamous for their Cardinal and Gold colors,

 is taking them to the land of sunshine and beaches...

Even though we don't want to say good bye,

the water bottles said it in many ways...

We will miss you but we know you will

"Fight On"!

The Halloween Candy Bar Cart

The time has come.
My teenage children have plans so, I am now,

"The Stay at Home Mom"
on Halloween Night.

 I decided to greet the Trick or Treaters in style
by wheeling out my
Candy Bar Cart!

Now that we are a week into school,

We were asked to bring waters to a 

girls' end of summer party...

I thought it would be fun to literally bring
 "Water Balloons"...
(and an easy way to get them to drink up!)

This gives a whole new meaning to the word POP...

Balloons are so easy to attach, 

just stretch over the top of the water bottle!
