Kicking up some going away party fun

They are trading their California flip-flops for Texas boots,
so it is only fitting to have a Going Away Hoedown!

Foot stomping mini invitations,
kick off the celebration...

Be there or be Square (dance)...

So Long, Farewell...Going Away Party

One of our favorite "teams" is moving away.
A new job, with a university that is
infamous for their Cardinal and Gold colors,
is taking them to the land of sunshine and beaches...

Even though we don't want to say good bye,
the water bottles said it in many ways...

We will miss you but we know you will
"Fight On"!

Snapshots from our Sayonara Soiree...bidding farewell Japanese-style

Our dear friends are moving to Japan for a year
and we sent them off in style with a
Japanese Themed Dinner

a few snapshots of the big day...

the sushi platters with a little seaweed love...

the signature drink of the evening...
The Green-TEA-ni

so ZEN to make:
to make one Green-TEA-ni
4oz cold green tea
1/2 oz sake
squeeze of lime

and a simple send off for each family,
Edamame seeds so they can have a little bit of Japan growing in their home...

Sayonara to the Stephens,
so excited to hear about all the adventures!

and I could not have had such a big crowd at my humble abode
without the help of Kleenex Hand Towels

Sushi Sayonara Soiree

We are getting ready to say
Sayonara to a special family that is moving to Japan...

The planning is well under way and I am getting
"all my sushi in a ROE"!

We are going to have a Sumo sized crowd,
so I will be relying heavily on
Each ゲスト(guest) will get a clean, fresh, dry towel
and I will not have to worry about dirty, damp, wadded up hand towels
all over the bathroom.
Not only will we be saying Sayonara to the Stephens, but any gross germs too.
After all, hands are only as clean as the towel used to dry them.

Kleenex wants you to try them and has given me a box to give away.
Please leave me a comment and a winner will be chosen at random on July 31st.
(open to US residents only).

I can't wait to show you all the party prep and fun!
