The Kentucky Derby is here. 

Although a trip to Churchill Downs is not on the agenda, 

we'll be celebrating with a quick and easy cake as we watch the races.

A store bought cake, 

adorned with colorful horse gummie candies and a giant fresh rose are all you need.

Wearing a fun hat and sipping a mint julep are optional....

perfectly jockeyed on a bit of crisp seersucker...

but for me it's neck and neck -

Are mint tulips best served
in a traditional mint julep cup or a horse rocks glass?

I guess it'll be a photo finish...
