Old School Valentines

Everything old is new again.
I'm thrilled that the characters I loved as a child are having a resurgence!

I went retro with these school Valentines.

A simple sweet sentiment about happiness topped with a Snoopy eraser...

and a magical message about friendship topped with My Little Pony...

Because really, 

Valentine's Day is such a dog and pony show!

Salty Dogs for the New Year

2016 has already gone to the "dogs"!

We are kicking off the year with our favorite

Salty Dogs...

 Bright pink grapefruit juice and vodka shaken then poured into a icy, 

pink salt rimmed glass...

and just to add a little personality...

garnished with mini toy dogs...

No bones about it, 

it's a great way to start 2016!

This one is for our favorite sheepdog,

 who keeps watch as we pick grapefruit from her favorite trees in the desert...

The Murphy's Salty Dogs 

for 2 drinks

fill a cocktail shaker with ice

add 10 oz fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and 2 oz vodka 

shake until combined then pour into salt rimmed, ice filled glasses (we used Himalayan Pink Salt)

and top with a pooch
