Happy Camper...Signature Drink of the Summer

The people that know me best,

 are shocked to hear we are going on a family camping trip this summer.

I am not someone who camps often,

but we promised the kids
(Jack really, Carolyn couldn't care less)
and I am determined to make it great.

In honor of our trip next month,

I have created a simple signature drink for the summer...

Hubert's Strawberry Lemonade, 

Citron and a sprig of Rosemary...

shaken not stirred in a thermos!

This should make camping a lot more fun,

and lights out a lot easier!

"Writing" off into the Sunset...Horse Themed Stationery

Karen has 3 girls and for the last few years she has given them 

personalized stationery for summer camp.

Emma and Julia received theirs and 

now this Christmas it is Anna's turn. 

She will be "writing" off into the sunset in style...

 

Now I am a Happy Camper!

We are off to pick Carolyn up at camp...

to let her know how

HAPPY

we are to have her home,

a Smiley Face tribute is in the works for her return.

Cupcakes, flowers for her room

and hanging smiles from the trees...

and Jack's sign!

letter from her little brother...

Sweet Carolyn - "Candy" Care Package

We can't send any food or candy to camp,

so I stocked this package with other

sweet treats...

a mini Tootsie Pop pillow,

ice cream pencil and lip gloss and

a Japanese milk shake eraser

all plopped in a Haagen-Dazs carton.

Sorry Neil, to us she is

Wee Wishes

My daughter's camp stress the importance of not communicating

how much you miss them while they are away...

just a mini message to tell her I do miss her...

just a little!

We "BLUE" this one - Camp Care Package

I am a little blue today with my girl away at camp...

We filled this care package with everything in a blue hue!

(and I included some camp calling cards,

so she can keep in touch with all her new buddies)

We are "RED-y" to send another care package

Care package #2 is all RED for the APPLE of my eye...

Flip flops, journal, mini flash light, mini radio

and Bubblicious lip balm are just a few of the treats....

and I am thrilled with her new found

love of Archie Comics (a girl after my own heart).

we are sending to camp.
