Best thing since sliced pear...

Inspiration hits me at the strangest times.
I was running around, doing last minute, mundane errands and
a loaf of bread, from French bakery, caught my eye.
I had to have it...

So last night with thick, juicy pork chops,
we had a salad to pair with the amazing Buckwheat Pear Loaf.

Crisp and light

with a touch of sweet nuttiness...

Arugula Pear Salad

whisk together:
3 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
6 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 tsp honey
1 tsp Dijon mustard
dash of salt and dash of pepper

Bread Basket - Easter Hostess Gift

Thank you to La Crema Wines for sponsoring this post.  All opinions are entirely my own, and yes, La Crema is my fave!

I love to have fun with Hostess Gifts.
I always include a great bottle of wine and for Easter this year,
I'm thinking a little outside of the "basket".

Instead of the traditional Easter Basket,
I am bringing our hosts
and Easter Bread Basket.

Homemade Rosemary, Parmesan and Sea Salt Focaccia...
(really, I made it!)

(my new favorite wine for Spring and Summer,
it is light, floral with hints of pear and meyer lemon)

and a cutting board and truffle olive oil for dipping...

the La Crema Monterey Pinot Gris is perfect with the focaccia...

and also pairs excellently with baking and waiting for the dough to rise!

I am so thrilled to be collaborating with La Crema
on ways to celebrate holidays and every day.
It is a dream come true to be working with my favorite winery.

The La Crema Blog is a great resource, filled with food, fashion and living the good life.
I am sharing my focaccia recipe there today.

This post was sponsored by La Crema,
but all opinions and love of their wines is entirely my own.
