Bastille Day Broadway Breakfast

Bonjour!
This year we are waking up on Bastille Day and celebrating
with a breakfast of amazing French pastries and honoring two beloved
Broadway musicals set in Paris.

Because it's always good to reflect on Love and Redemption...

to sing at the top of your lungs,
"I've got rhythm"...

and croissants are always a good idea,
just like Paris!
Who could ask for anything more?

Oooh La La...
Broadway toppers are available in my Etsy Shop.

Simple Parisian Picnic

Pardon my French but Bastille Day is tomorrow!
We are keeping it simple yet très chic with a pretty Parisian picnic.

Magical Meringue Cookies...

and creamy French cheeses...

paired with Rosè and a crusty baguette.
Viva la France and Happy Bastille Day!

The Pardon my French tote is available at select Old Navy stores!

French Pies for Bastille Day

Some silly fun for Bastille Day on the 14th...

What better way to celebrate France's big day,
than with French Pies?

Pie tins filled with baby Brie and berries...
I say, Let them Eat Pie!
(but in all honesty I may have French Fries too)

Passport to Paris...French "Dip" for Bastille Day

I've got my passport all ready under the Eiffel Tower,
but I unfortunately I will not be in France for Bastille Day...

Instead we will be having
French "Dip" to celebrate...

Light, refreshing and with all French ingredients...

enjoyed with VIP view of the
Eiffel Tower!

Our French Dip

Mix together:
7.5 container Cream Fraiche
1 tsp Herbs de Provence
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
2 Tablespoons finely chopped shallots
2 Tablespoons chopped chives
1tsp fleur de sel
(or Kosher Salt, I am just trying to be French)

Chill mixture at least 1 hour

top with lemon peel and a few crispy fried shallots

Bon Appetit!
