5+ Festive ways to use Chocolate Rabbits for Easter

It all started during Easter years ago.

My kids received so many adorable chocolate bunnies 

that I thought, 

there has to be something more to do with them besides nibble off the ears.

Bunny Milk became a fun tradition that we still look forward to.

It seems as though chocolate rabbits are multiplying more than ever.

The Easter aisles at every store are stocked with all shapes and sizes.

Here are a few more festively easy ways to celebrate with them.

Let's get the Easter Parade started!

Easter Bunny Bonnets

I dare you not to smile at these

fresh flower and succulent hats...

Simply use a skewer to make a stem-sized hole
and adorn with a tiny succulent...

or any other snippets from the garden.

They are the perfect touch of whimsy

for centerpiece or place setting.

Don't they look proud?!

On our Easter Menu...

Stuffed Rabbit - 2 ways

For a sweet surprise, 

make a hole in the back and fill with candy...

Or what my teenagers prefer...

Bunny Money

Rabbit Stew

All the fixings for a Spring stew make a silly hostess gift...

The ingredients include:

a pastel colander, filled with colorful tiny potatoes, fresh veggie seeds...

and one gorgeous dark chocolate rabbit.

For dessert we're serving...

Baked Rabbit (Bunny S'mores)

Small chocolate covered marshmallow bunnies...

are nestled in between graham crackers 

and baked at 350 degrees for 10 minutes...

I like mine well done!

And a decadent Chocolate Martini with a tiny bunny floater becomes a

Rabbit-ini

Rose Gold Easter Bunnies

Hop to it... 

Easter is on it's way and even if it gets down to the wire,

I've got you covered with fun DIY bunny decor.

These rose gold wire bunnies are so quick and easy to make, 

they will multiply in minutes!

All you need are a pair of scissors and wire from the craft store.
I chose rose gold, 20 gage wire but the selections are endless.
Just make sure the wire is easy to cut and bend.

This wire already comes in a circular shape...

simply cut off a portion that will be 2 -3 circles "thick" 

(or even more if you'd like)

then cut wire for the ears

(mine are approximately 8")

and just wrap the ends onto the circular wire to form your ears.

(make sure when attaching the ear wires,

 that you secure them around the loose ends of the circles to hold the "face" together)

Mommy Dearest may not have liked wire hangers, 

but wire bunnies... adorable!

They may even get you to crack a smile.

Carrot Soap - Easy Easter DIY

The perfect Easter craft to make for all your Peeps.

Super simple with just 3 ingredients -

make a big batch of
Carrot Soap!

All you need is:

Shea Butter Soap 
(it usually comes in a "brick" that is easy to divide)
 and Scented Oils from the Craft Store

& grated carrots.

The carrots add a fun texture and fabulous natural color.

To make 3 small bunny soaps, 

place a 1oz cube of the soap and 2 tablespoons of grated carrot 

in a microwave safe container

(preferably one that is easy to pour out of - I use a glass gravy boat)

Then add a few drops of your favorite scented oil

(this is optional, I just love to make them smell good)

Melt in microwave for approximately 30 seconds and give it a quick stir, 

then pour into silicon molds.

Repeat steps until your bunnies have multiplied to your liking...

Let set about an hour, in a cool environment,

 until you can easily pop them out.

Since the carrots are fresh, 

use within 2 weeks.

Clean bunnies are the best,

sandwiched between 2 jumbo magnets...

Festive, useful, cute...

and they can even get in line to do the Bunny Hop Dance!

I got all the supplies but the ribbon at Staples.
