Rice Krispies Treat Mini Donuts - Monday Mood Lift!

I had a ball "kreating" Rice Krispies Treat Donuts. I have been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc and it's advertiser.  All content is my own and I would love for your vote for my recipe (see below) on the Kelloggs Family Rewards Website! #KreateMyHappy #CollectiveBias

Need a fun snack?
Rice Krispies Treat + mini-donuts =
it's a match made in heaven!
Top them with M&M "sprinkles",
and you will be making these easy, delicious morsels again and again.

Just a few simple ingredients...

with the key being Rice Krispies pre-made treats.

I simply cut them...

into quarters
and microwave briefly...

then mold them into a mini donut pan...

and let set...

gently pop them out and put aside...

melt butter and Jet-Puffed mini-marshmallows...

get your M&M "sprinkles" ready...

and just glaze your donuts...

and sprinkle away!

Krispies Treats Mini Donuts with Sprinkles
makes 1 dozen
Special tool:
1 mini donut pan
Ingredients
3 premade .78oz Kelllogg’s Rice Krispies Treats
1 ½ cups Jet-Puffed Mini Marshmallows
2 Tablespoons non-salted butter
1 cup plain M&Ms
non-stick cooking spray

1.    Coat your mini donut pan with non-stick cooking spray

2.    Cut  each of the 3 premade Rice Krispies Treat into 4 equal squares so you have 12

3.    Put 4 squares at a time into the microwave for approximately 20 seconds and while they are still warm mold them into your donut pan – be sure to pack the treats in “tightly” so you have a perfect donut

4.    Let Krispies Donuts set in the pan for about 10 minutes then gently remove by prying with a butter knife and set aside on a parchment paper.

5.    Place plain M&Ms in a small ziplocked baggie and smash with something heavy to create your sprinkles. (once you have the size you like, you may need to sift out any “dust” you’ve created. Place in a bowl or on a plate.

6.    Over low heat, melt together butter and mini marshmallows.  Once combined, ice your donuts, one at a time with a butter knife.  While icing is still warm, top with M&M sprinkles, place back on parchment, then move on to your next donut.

7.    Let Krispies Mini Donuts set a few minutes before serving.
