Love is in the Hair- easy to make Valentines Accessories

When it comes to Valentine's Day attire, 

I say, a touch of LOVE is all you need...

This year, Love will be in the Hair, 

whether it's a ponytail or headband...

Oh so "lovely" and easy to make...

The only supplies are:
rhinestone letter slide charms & ruffle or fold-over elastic

(I got it all at Joann Fabrics)

Cut the elastic to desired length, 

being sure to cut at an angle, to make threading through charm easier,

then slide on the LOVE...

 when you are finished,  tie the 2 ends of the elastic together tightly.

To prevent fraying, carefully and lightly burn ends with lighter or match.

I also slightly burn at the knot to ensure it stays tied...

The length will vary slightly due to:
 type of elastic, size of head for headband and hair thickness but,
for our ponytail holder: I cut to 8 inches
for our headband: I cut to 13 inches

So pull your hair back, put on the LOVE
 and have a great Valentine's Day!
