For Valentine's Day make soaps for
your sweetie...
or the cynic...
either way, it is super simple...
I used:
Shea Butter Soap
(available at Michael's)
Dried Cherries
(for a little texture and color)
Essential Oil of your choice
(mine was Fresh Linen from Michael's)
Heat tolerant mold-sprayed with Pam
(heart tray pictured is an Ikea ice cube tray)
To fill the 16 small molds,
In a glass gravy boat (for easy pouring) I melted 8 of the Shea Butter Soap cubes
in the microwave for 1 minute, stirring after 30 seconds.
Once soap is completely melted,
stir in a handful of chopped dried cherries and a few drops of essential oil.
Then pour and wait about 45 minutes to an hour to remove.
Keep it Clean this Valentine's Day!
