Root "Fear" Floats? A Bone Chilling Halloween Treat

Don't be afraid...

these Halloween Floats might chill you to the bone,
but they are good for them too...

Instead of the usual vanilla ice cream in a Root Beer Float,
I used vanilla Greek yogurt...

I filled my molds...
(sprayed first with Pam for easy removal)

popped them in the freezer...

and hours later,
I had beautiful, ivory, chilled bones...

and the scariest thing...
my kids didn't know the difference!

If you are interested in freezing your brain,
take a look at how we "chilled out" last Halloween...

  1. What an amazing idea! I always prefer frozen yoghurt over ice cream, so these are right down my street. Pinning :) I'd be thrilled if you'd come on over to Pink Recipe Box and link up at Creative Wednesdays: http://pinkrecipebox.com/creative-wednesdays-with-pink-recipe-box-12

  3. Wow! Really? the yogurt tastes the same in the rootbeer as ice cream. I may just have to try that.
