Even Big Girls love Winnie the Pooh-our Teen Pooh Party!

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Disney and BluePrint Social.  All content and opinions are entirely my own.

I was thrilled to be chosen to recieve an advanced copy of
Since my children are teenagers,
I planned on having my 3 year old nephew over
for a little fun and adventure with Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and the gang.

When I let my daughter know, she exclaimed,
"Everyone, loves Pooh, let's have my friends over!!"
and so we did...

To satisfy any
"rumbly in their tumbly",
we made Honeycomb Treats...

so delicious and simple!
Perfect to go along with Pooh's Honey Addiction

We melted:
3 Tablespoons butter in a large saucepan
then added:
one 10 ounce bag of mini marshmallows
once melted completely, removed from heat and stirred in 6 cups of Honeycomb cereal

then into a 9 x 12" baking pan until cooled...

We placed them in honeycomb paper wrappers and onto a tree stump,
straight out of the 100 Acre Woods...

Since the viewers at our get together are teenage girls,
and I can't throw any type of party without a favor to take home,
we made
HONEY Deep Hair Conditioner with a COMB...

just 2 ingredients:

To fill three 8 ounce jelly jars:
mix 2 cups of coconut oil

with 3 Tablespoons Raw Honey...

you can mix by hand,
but we whisked it in the mixer to ensure ingredients were fully combined...

then into the jars and tied with a comb...
(Use a little of the conditioner on damp hair, leave on for 10 to 15 minutes.
Shampoo until all of it is rinsed out of hair-
you will be amazed at how soft and shiny your hair is!
Keep in a cool place or coconut oil may liquify,
which is still fine but it is easier to use on hair when solidified...
place in refrigerator if needed before application)

(my well loved, vintage Pooh Bear, circa late 1960s)

My daughter and her friends had not seen a
Winnie the Pooh Movie or read a book about all of his antics in years.
They were honestly touched by the sweet messages about friendship, helping others and
using your imagination.
As they are all about to enter High School,
it was heart warming to see how they responded.
It just goes to show, you are never too OLD for this Silly Old Bear.

They also realized that Tigger,
with his infamous catch phrase,
TTFN
(Ta Ta For Now)
may have been the inventor of Texting Acronyms!

Being the modern bear that he is,
Stay up to date with what Pooh and his friends are up to :)

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Blu-ray/DVD pack will be available on August 27
