Toasting Valentine's Day

A HEART-y
breakfast to start the day...

My kids are waking up to
Cocoa-filled cups, heart toast and marshmallows...

The nonpareils hearts were so easy and fun to make...

Jumbo Marshmallow
+

heart stencil made from paper punch + a few drops of honey...

sprinkle nonparelis...

then "smoosh" down a little with your finger...

lift up stencil and don't be afraid when it looks like this...

I just shaped them a little with my non-honey covered finger...

The toast was a cinch too
with the "side of the cup cookie cutters" I found here!

Cheers to a fun filled day!

  3. So cute! I love the marshmallows. I was thinking the little toasts on the cup would be adorable on a mug of scrambled eggs ... you know how you can make them in the microwave??

  7. I didn't know there are cookie cutters for this. Thanks for that tip.

Also love the idea from Randi about putting the toast on a mug filled with scrambled eggs. That would brighten any morning.
