The highlight of our Summer Pizza Party is a little unexpected...
Pomegranates!
Bright in color and big in taste.
Perfect for topping for fresh, hand-crafted pizzas...
and lively libations...
The secret to a perfect pomegranate pie?
Soaking them in a touch of PAMA Liqueur.
Their sweet yet tart flavor is delicious on the fresh arugula, creamy cheese and crispy dough.
I am pairing my Pomegranate Pizzas with a cool, refreshing
PAMA-mazing Spritzer.
This gorgeous ruby red cocktail is light and refreshing with a hint of citrus.
Fill a lemon-zest and sugar rimmed glass with ice,
and pour in equal parts of PAMA...
and sparkling water...
and drink in the Summer!
Pomegranate and Arugula Topped Pizza
Preheat Oven to 400 degrees
Store Bought Pizza Dough
Tomato Sauce
Ovoline or Bocconcini Mozzarella in water sliced
Arugula
Pomegranate Seeds soaked in PAMA
Lemon Wedge
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Top pizza dough with thin layer of tomato sauce and sliced mozzarella cheese. Cook approximately 10 minutes until dough is cooked, edges are brown and cheese is bubbling. Remove from oven and let cool a few minutes then top with arugula and PAMA soaked pomegranate seeds. Finish with a squeeze of lemon over entire pizza, sprinkling of salt and a few drizzles of olive oil.
