My kids are so ready for summer.

It is getting harder and harder to get them up for school

and they are bored with the cereal, toast or bagels I suggest for breakfast.

Well, I decided to add a little excitement to our mornings with the

Snickerdoodle Smoothie...

Easy, quick and

with Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Classic French Vanilla in the recipe,

this smoothie has 21 vitamins & minerals,

13 grams of protein and tons of calcium

My secret ingredients to get that Snickerdoodle taste are

cinnamon, crispy rice cereal and coconut flakes

I put them in the blender...

and pulsed until they were similar to the consistency of coarse sugar...

then added Carnation Breakfast Essentials® and 1 cup of super ice cold milk...

The Snickerdoodle Smoothie

1 packet Classic French Vanilla flavor Carnation Breakfast Essentials®

1 cup of ICE COLD MILK

2 Tablespoons crispy rice cereal

2 teaspoons coconut flakes

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

combine the cereal, coconut and cinnamon in a blender,

pulse until it is similar to consistency of coarse sugar

add milk and Carnation Breakfast Essentials® and blend until combined
