Merry Little Christmas Trees

We are trying to keep things simple and cheery this Christmas
and these Merry Little Christmas Tree ornaments just make me happy...

So easy to make.
You just need:
mini Christmas Trees
tiny pom poms
embroidery thread
large needle
(all items available at crafts stores)

for my 4" sisal tree I used about
24" of embroidery floss, threaded on the needle and pom poms...

about 24 pom poms was just the right amount...

I then wrapped one end of the floss around the top of the tree
and started twisting the strand around...

once you get to the base just wrap the excess around...

attach a loop at the top for hanging and you are finished!

and now our big Christmas tree,
is decked out with
Merry Little Christmas Trees...

Have a wonderful Holiday!

I was thrilled to share these ornaments on
Under the Table and Dreaming.

  3. Very cute, I love anything with a pom pom! Do you glue the floss or pom poms at all or do they stick to the trees well enough without?
