An Apple (Cocktail) a day...Festive Fall Drinks

I have been wanting to do a fun Fall cocktail using Apple Cider but
being the "Ironic, Play on Words Addict" that I am,
I couldn't decide between two ideas so...I made both.

My twist on the Sidecar-
The Apple Cide-car...

I usually steer clear of Bourbon drinks,
but this cocktail may have converted me.
Slightly sweet with touches of oak and caramel,
it tastes like a little bit of Autumn in a glass.

The Apple Cide-Car
In a Cocktail Shaker with ice
add 4 oz Apple Cider
1 oz Bourbon (I use Maker's Mark)
Squeeze of Lemon
Shake and pour into sugar rimmed martini glass
Garnish with Apple Slice

Then I was bitten by a spider,
The Apple Spider...

Crisp and refreshing,
just like a perfect Fall day
(minus the Spider crawling around!)...

The Apple Spider
In a Cocktail Shaker with ice,
Shake 4 oz Apple Cider with
1 oz Apple flavored vodka
Pour into an ice filled glass then
top with a splash of club soda
Garnish with Apple Slice and Spider

Cheers!
